In 1851, Charles-Camille Heidsieck gave his name to his own Champagne brand. From 1852, this pioneer in search of new markets, crossed the Atlantic 4 times heading to the New World . His sense of business and his personality made him famous under the name of "Champagne Charlie".
Charles Heidsieck is today among the most prestigious brands of Champagne. Focusing on wine and food connoisseurs, Charles Heidsieck is consumed in famous restaurants like « étoilés Michelin », luxury hotel chains and prestigious wine specialists.
Charles Heidsieck is famous for its Brut Non-Vintage « Mis en Cave », the first wine of champagne to display the year it was laid down in the cellars and its disgorgement period. Charles Heidsieck offers different years of ageing with a minimum of three years, to enable you to enjoy to the full the aromas and flavours which develop over time.
The Charles Heidsieck range is also famous for its vintage wines: Charles Heidsieck Vintage 1995, Charles Heidsieck Rosé 1996 and its awarded Blanc de Blancs Tête de Cuvée, which spends a minimum of 10 years on lees: Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millénaires 1990. |
